I have a little stash of dove choclates tucked away for chocolate ccravings. Each little piece has a nice message inside. Tonight mine said “Spending time is better than spending money.” My mom’s said “Love is the best gift.” Both of these little messages are so true.
My orignal plan for today included wrapping more presents, making cards and making gifts - the usual. As I walked to my car I decided to see of my mom wanted to join me for dinner. I proposed a visit to a Vitenamese restaurant and she accepted. I was suprised and pleased. She didn’t love the pho as much as I did, but she did enjoy it.
I really had an early start on my Christmas crafts. Yet I found it hard to stay motivated, so today I found myself ot the decision point of just letting things go and enjoying my time. When I got home and opened my Christmas card from my dear friend Tina it clinched my decision to not make anymore cards. I’ve picked up a few boxes of store bought cards and planned a movie night with mom and Corey for tomorrow. It’s time to count my blessings rather than make myself nuts.

“It’s time to count my blessings rather than make myself nuts.” – Yep, I decided that however many Christmas cards I could write, with personal messages, on a three-hour window on Sunday night was probably going to be all the cards I send this year. (Didn’t even consider making any myself!)
hey I agree life is too short, I come up with a design idea and it’s a lot more simple than any thing I’d make for a birthday card then I make the cards starting usally at the beginging of october I do about 100 a year I also do a round robin letter (which I know some people hate) And I print my address labels. This is my gift to peolple I don’t buy many presents so they get my hand made cards that is my gift, my time.
