He is also really mean. Check out this comment.
The Man of My Dreams April 30, 2008
Almost every day Corey does or says something that makes me love him even more than I already do. I have one of those smacked-in-the-head, can’t-stop-giggling, thrill-like-when-we-first-met kinda moments. Where I look around and wonder if I am dreaming and how I got so luck that the funniest guy in the world is my husband.
Check out the comments on this post. Corey’s comment … I love that guy.
And yes Corey, I AM down.
good stuff April 28, 2008
Lots of good stuff lately. Inspired by my good friends in the weight loss game (Kim, Misty, Kathryn, and Jess) I have managed to get really inspired to stick with my plan. This last week I lost just over 6 pounds! Whoo-hoo! That brings my total for this round of Jenny to 14 pounds. Go Me!
In the greatest blogging move ever, Tracey has started a blog. Check her out and leave her lots of love.
I did a really nice layout of my mom and our dog Gypsy. The photo quality sucks but the look on her face is so joyful.

And I got a new friend last weekend.

30 Minutes, Baby April 21, 2008
Lain has been doing 30 Minute Thursdays over on Scraphappy for awhile now. I only played along once before. I was going to skip last week’s challenge – use yellow and orange, the latters A & Z, and bonus points for a table. I hardly ever use yellow, and where would I get an A & a Z? (Thanks Trish for pointing out that that’s how I spell Schatze. Duh.) Anyway, as I was looking for pics for another layout, I found these photos of my mom baking Zucchini Bread – that I have wanted to scrap for awhile. Perfect. And there is a table. So, I set my mom to handwriting the recipe – it HAD to be her handwriting – on a yellow index card, while I printed photos and did the layout. Check it out!

note to self April 14, 2008
Awhile back I decided to actually DO some of my online classes, since I had signed up for a new one. So I have been trying to get to that. I started reading the material, gathering supplies, and choosing pictures. Today, when I signed up for yet another class, I realized that while the intention was there, production was still lacking. Then I went to Jenny for my weigh in and confirmed my backwards progress yet again (last week I did awaesome, this week not so much). So tonight I got out my welness stuff, cut some paper and glued it down. Definite porgress.
I also got my ScarletLime kit today. WOW! Gorgeous stuff, and so much! Lots of fabricky ribbons, tons of embellishments, lovely paper. I got the main kit and the project kit add on. This is SUPER stuff. If you are thinking about joining a kit club check them out because it is wonderful. I started thinking about what I would do with my little book in the add-on kit and decided to make myself a little “note to self” album of all the little reminders I tell myself through out the day and really need to focus on. But I don’t. So this time I wrote them down and will make a little book. The one that started this train of thought?
Finish What You Started!
I just want to note that the FREE class is the one I am caught up on. I made my journal, did my first couple assignments. Go me!

scrap happiness April 13, 2008
It was a long and scrappy day today. It started at 8:10 when I woke up regretting staying up til almost 3 last night. But after participating in a 3 hour test I HAD to watch Dan in Real Life and play GNR, right?
So I had a quick shower, checked my email and then met Trish at Starbucks (Nonfat Chai Tea Latte for me, Orange Juice for her). Then we asked Alice GPS how to get to Twisted Sister’s Paper Therapy in Cuyahoga Falls. We met up with another Lisa and several other Fiskateer’s to get certified as Fiskar’s demonstrators. This was so cool, the very sweet Sara R. taught is how to use so many cool tools. Surprise hit of the day was the Ultra ShapeXpress – this thing is awesome! I got the Frames template too.
I bought some paper at Twisted Sister’s. Then we headed over to Scrapbooker’s Paradise. More patterned paper, some angel wing stickers, popsicle diecuts, journalling rubons, and flip-flop charms.
Next stop – Archivers. I got a pack of American Crafts paper and a sheet of Heidi Grace paper.
After lunch at Boston Market we hit Michaels – no new studio G stamps, but I did get something… Oh yeah, some making memories letters and other doodaads. I think these are still in Trish’s car.
Frm there we went to the Scrapbook Shop in Copley. I got still more patterned paper and a very pretty flower diecut make from opalescent paper.
We decided to continue westward and hit Hobby Lobby. Oh my heck! I’ve never been to one. They have a great selection. I got some rubons – they have gorgeous rubons. 12 x 12 paper was 5 for $1 so I got a bunch of American Crafts paper there too. And some cardstock.
We wanted to get to Hollo’s, but I am a slow shopper so we were too late. Trish and I did go use up some 40% off coupons at Joann’s – I picked up a Fiskar’s border punch.
Pat Catan’s is a local craft store chain. The store we went to is their flagship store. I had nevee been to that particular one, but I was so so happy. I was able to get a huge piece of chipboard for 97 cents, and some smaller, thinner pieces for 10 cents. They also had pomegranate Bert’s Bees chapstick. I picked up some tuff for various project as well.
Last stop, Flower Factory. This is a club-type discount store. I only went there once before. This place rocks! I stopcked up on stamps and Fiskars tools – they had the best prices and a fab selection. we were giddy. And we ran into Pam too.
After Trish dropped me off I made a run to Walgreens and found some silverware drawer dividers to put my Distress Ink pads into. Just what I wanted and they were less than $1 each.
I took a photo of my loot, but I refuse to add up my reciepts. I see I already forgot some of my treasures. I set all my new stuff on my extra table to inspire me to use it. So far I used one of the ribbons I bought the other night and the Ultra ShapeXpress…

I have been using my bind-it-all like crazy. I joined a journalling class this week. I thought I had an extra composition book around here, but I could not find it. I have tons and tons of journals, but none of them are here. So I made one out of some chipboard and index cards I had lying around.

And He Did It April 10, 2008
You might remember the dramatic story of Corey and the Guns N’ Roses pinball machine. Well guess what. It’s here.
Hell yeah, Corey went and bought us a pinball machine. He’s playing it right now. Holy crap!
