So i bought some yarn today. I didn’t buy a pattern book, just decided to use the patterns on the yarn package. So now I am leaning on a huge pile og yellow yarn because I forgot how to do a double crochet stitch. I had to look it up. What a dork. So far I made a 108 stitch chain and 2 double crochet stitches. And now I am blog hopping looking for eye candy. I need some motivation!

This is post #280. I really do hope to blog more, lol. Where does the time go?
I signed up for Twitter last week, since I can just text some updates. But so far I can’t get the blog badge to work and show up on my blog. Not that I spent too much time trying. But if you want to follow me, search for onlysleepn.
I decided to sign up after seeing the badge on the Journal Revolution blog. I find those ladies so inspiring. I just don’t art journal as much as I am inspired to do so. One day last week I got update after update from Linda. I also needed to stop by the apartment to get some stuff for the garage sale. On the way there I thought I should put together a page using stuff from the aprtment to capture my feelings about this move. And I actually did it. I will post later, but I used a page from an old magazine, bits of junk that were scattered around, and the various kinds of tape we had left.
I also took some photos of my gorgeous hydrangeas. I will miss them so much.
I was so disapointed I only had my cell phone and not my good camera.
We made over $200 at the garage sale. Most of it was from ol train stuff, so we had boxes and boxes to take to Salvation Army afterwards. Corey and my mom were true champs, taking it all right away.
Other than that, we;ve spent lots of time with family and friends this last week. That is the best part.

My procedure Friday was successful. I have to admit I was pretty scared the whole time – more than I knew. I cried when it was over. We heard baby’s heartbeat before and after and all is well. I have had a very restful weekend. Corey and Mom on the other hand, have not. But I seriously have the bet, most caring family in the whole world. I love them so much.

I feel good today. I had my next appointment with my doctor. Baby’s heartbeat is nice and strong. =) Happy Happy! My cerclage is scheduled for tomorrow. Rest is scheduled for the weekend. Hurray! I have some movies to watch, books to read, sheep to count. Maybe some scrapping????

I just haven’t been spending time on the computer so much, so I have been neglecting my poor blog. But I THINK about it alot. Does that count?
I get into trouble when I spend any time online and I buy stuff. I signed up for another Shimelle class. It’s day 2 and techncally I am behind. All I had to do yesterday was take pictures. I thought about taking them. But I ate dinner, watched Reba of all things for 2 hours, and then went to bed. Corey and I both fell asleep in the middle of a Family Guy episode on our DVR – it maust have replayed itself 4 times before I woke up and shut it off. Anyway, I love taking classes from Shimelle. First of all – she is the sweetest, cutest person ever. And so talented. Plus, her classes are an incredible bargain. Seriously. And, if I fall asleep and forget to do anythign about my class for 6 months – I can mosey on back and still find all the class material. I love her.
The other thing I bought ona day where I was only online for like 7 minutes was one of these. Now I gotta think up something special to do with it. But it’s so cute. I haven’t even taken it out of the wrapper yet.
We did a ton of stuff over the 4th. Friday we went to a cookout at Mike & Amy’s house, then Corey headed off to a gig at the Roc Bar. It was 8 before I discovered there were no fireworks in the surrounding 3 suburbs, so I ran myself and baby down tot he flats to watch the fireworks with Corey. After that my energy promptly ran out, so I went home and missed his show.
Saturday I recovered by watching Ghost Whisperer for hours on end. Corey and I went to see Peter Tork, but it was too loud for me. Good grief, how odd. So I sat in the toehr room and listened to his blues crap and wished he’d play better Monkees songs. Then he was a jerk to Corey. But Corey just shook it off and got his signature tattooed on his arm anyway. I assume there will be a blog post soon. But since I am still waiting for Corey to blog about how hilarious our baby is during ultrasounds, I will not hold my breath.
Sunday was spent with the in-laws planning our vacation and playing Rock Band. I am hoping we are going to play tonight. But it is early now. If this day holds true to form, by the time I get home I will be crying because I am too tired to think about what I want for dinner and the basement will have relocated itself 300 miles away from the couch.
I am 14 weeks now. I am pretty sure the morning sickness and tiredness are going to fade away soon. Temporarily at least. But if not, that’s OK.
I have my doctors appointment on Thursday. And I get my stitch on Friday. Thank God. I am pretty sure I will feel better then. It’s like a dream.
So I was looking at the page of Ollie I posted last time. I love it! Not only because he is the cutest thing, but I just like the page. So maybe I will keep doing pages with only 1 photo. Because if I like it so darn much I will actually do it. And in the long run that will be more cost effective than hoarding supplies. And I really like big giant pictures of my piggie. Plus I have about 8 ultrasound photos to scrap. They are cuter than Ollie! Wanna see? I don’t know if I posted this yet. My baby is so cute!
